Samuel Gelston's 12 Year Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey is a premium triple-distilled single malt matured for a minimum of 12 years in choice oak casks (primarily ex-bourbon barrels). It is bottled at 40% ABV
The brand dates back to 1830 when it was established in Belfast by Samuel Gelston, a successful wine and whiskey merchant. Following his passing in 1869, the business was bought out by Harry Neill. Five generations later, the brand was revived by his descendant Johnny Neill (also famously known for founding Whitley Neill Gin)
