About this bottle
The Macallan A Night on Earth in Jerez (2024) is a limited-edition single malt Scotch whisky released to celebrate the New Year's Eve (Nochevieja) traditions of Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. It is the third release in The Macallan's annual "A Night on Earth" series and was launched in 2024, the brand's 200th anniversary year.
The whisky is matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, sourced from the same region where sherry is produced. This release also features special packaging designed by Jerez-born artist Maria Melero.
Lot Conditions
Bottles in this auction are never classed as brand new. Boxes, bottles and packaging may carry marks or creases due to age. Please inspect the photographs closely before bidding, and contact us for an in-depth condition report: if a report is not requested, lots are sold as seen.
Given the age of the bottles and seals, the condition of the liquid is at the buyer’s discretion. Bottles can be insured against breakage or loss, not leakage.
- A 12.5% + VAT buyer’s premium is added to the hammer price.
- Payment is due within three days of the auction ending. After that, a further 5% + VAT of the hammer price is added.

About the distillery
The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray, Scotland. The Macallan Distillers Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Edrington, which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
The Macallan is generally considered to be the second or third highest-selling single-malt scotch, next to Glenfiddich and, by some accounts, Glenlivet.
