About this bottle
The GlenAllachie 19 Year Old Ex-Solera Sherry Cask Matured is an incredibly rare, super-premium single malt Scotch whisky released in June 2026 as the second edition of the distillery's highly acclaimed Masters of Wood Series. Hand-selected by legendary Master Distiller Billy Walker, this expression is famous for using authentic Spanish solera casks that aged fine Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry for over 55 years.
Because true solera barrels are the permanent lifeblood of a bodega and are almost never sold, this release is a massive "unicorn" for whisky collectors.

Bottles in this auction are never classed as brand new. Boxes, bottles and packaging may carry marks or creases due to age. Please inspect the photographs closely before bidding, and contact us for an in-depth condition report: if a report is not requested, lots are sold as seen.
Given the age of the bottles and seals, the condition of the liquid is at the buyer’s discretion. Bottles can be insured against breakage or loss, not leakage.
- A 12.5% + VAT buyer’s premium is added to the hammer price.
- Payment is due within three days of the auction ending. After that, a further 5% + VAT of the hammer price is added.

About the distillery
The GlenAllachie distillery was built in 1967 by Mackinlay McPherson. It was bought and mothballed by Invergordon Distillers in 1985. They sold it to Campbell Distillers in 1989, who restarted the distillery.
