It is part of the prestigious Symington's Choice collection, which showcases exceptional single casks personally handpicked by Signatory’s founder, Andrew Symington.
The "M" designation is widely understood in the whisky industry to denote an undisclosed, mystery Macallan. Because the distillery is fiercely protected and rarely allows its name on independent labels at higher cask strengths, this release represents a rare premium offering.

Bottles in this auction are never classed as brand new. Boxes, bottles and packaging may carry marks or creases due to age. Please inspect the photographs closely before bidding, and contact us for an in-depth condition report: if a report is not requested, lots are sold as seen.
Given the age of the bottles and seals, the condition of the liquid is at the buyer’s discretion. Bottles can be insured against breakage or loss, not leakage.

About the distillery
The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray, Scotland. The Macallan Distillers Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Edrington, which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
The Macallan is generally considered to be the second or third highest-selling single-malt scotch, next to Glenfiddich and, by some accounts, Glenlivet.
