About this bottle

The Macallan Easter Elchies Black (2020 Release) is a rare, highly collectible Speyside single malt Scotch whisky that marks the third and final expression in a limited annual series.

Launched in November 2020, this release is highly sought after by collectors due to its strict limitation to just 3,480 bottles globally and its unique production style.

Lot Conditions

Bottles in this auction are never classed as brand new. Boxes, bottles and packaging may carry marks or creases due to age. Please inspect the photographs closely before bidding, and contact us for an in-depth condition report: if a report is not requested, lots are sold as seen.

Given the age of the bottles and seals, the condition of the liquid is at the buyer’s discretion. Bottles can be insured against breakage or loss, not leakage.

  • A 12.5% + VAT buyer’s premium is added to the hammer price.
  • Payment is due within three days of the auction ending. After that, a further 5% + VAT of the hammer price is added.
  • Bids are binding. By bidding you accept the terms and conditions.

About the distillery

The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray, Scotland. The Macallan Distillers Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Edrington, which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.

The Macallan is generally considered to be the second or third highest-selling single-malt scotch, next to Glenfiddich and, by some accounts, Glenlivet.
