TIME - SPACE Mastery took inspiration from past whiskey masters and the variety of different casks styles available to create layers of complexity with incredible depth of aroma, texture and flavor.
The whiskey is housed in a crafted circular vessel representing the circle of life and the ongoing journey from the past to the future. In contrast to the subtlety of the exterior, the presentation case bursts to life with a vibrant red color – synonymous with The Macallan - and 200 spikes, for the brand's bicentennial year, represent how nature guards what is most precious and fragile. The intricate details are created using techniques stemming from the art of origami, to protect what is most valued for The Macallan, its incomparable whisky.
Lot Conditions
Bottles in this auction are never classed as brand new. Boxes, bottles and packaging may carry marks or creases due to age. Please inspect the photographs closely before bidding, and contact us for an in-depth condition report: if a report is not requested, lots are sold as seen.
Given the age of the bottles and seals, the condition of the liquid is at the buyer’s discretion. Bottles can be insured against breakage or loss, not leakage.
- A 12.5% + VAT buyer’s premium is added to the hammer price.
- Payment is due within three days of the auction ending. After that, a further 5% + VAT of the hammer price is added.

About the distillery
The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray, Scotland. The Macallan Distillers Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Edrington, which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
The Macallan is generally considered to be the second or third highest-selling single-malt scotch, next to Glenfiddich and, by some accounts, Glenlivet.
