Distil Your World New York by The Macallan is a new exceptional spirit that captures the essence of one of the most iconic cities in the world. It marks the latest release in the series of single malt whiskies and gastronomic creations exploring leading locations around the globe.
Following on from the wildly popular London Edition that was released last year, the renowned Scotch whisky maker has looked to the Big Apple for its latest limited edition single malt whisky.
Crafted by The Macallan Whisky Maker Polly Logan in collaboration with the Roca brothers, owners of El Celler de Can Roca, twice named Best Restaurant in the World, Distil Your World New York embodies and celebrates the city as a dynamic metropolis of art, creativity and visionary talent.
As far as the limited edition single malt goes, Distil Your World New York is created from the perfect combination of six European and American oak casks. The whisky reflects the distinctive artistic character of the city, its towering architecture, and the culinary eclecticism offered by its delis, diners and street food.
Only 1,000 bottles were produced of this whisky, making it incredibly popular amongst rare whisky collectors.

Bottles in this auction are never classed as brand new. Boxes, bottles and packaging may carry marks or creases due to age. Please inspect the photographs closely before bidding, and contact us for an in-depth condition report: if a report is not requested, lots are sold as seen.
Given the age of the bottles and seals, the condition of the liquid is at the buyer’s discretion. Bottles can be insured against breakage or loss, not leakage.
- A 12.5% + VAT buyer’s premium is added to the hammer price.
- Payment is due within three days of the auction ending. After that, a further 5% + VAT of the hammer price is added.

About the distillery
The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray, Scotland. The Macallan Distillers Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Edrington, which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
The Macallan is generally considered to be the second or third highest-selling single-malt scotch, next to Glenfiddich and, by some accounts, Glenlivet.
