Description

This expression from the Taiwanese King Car distillery is the first to carry the name of the King Car Group instead of 'Kavalan' as their single malt whiskies have all be known as to date. Awarded Gold Medal at the 2006 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Diverse with complex flavours, it has delicate aromas and multiple layers of background fruitiness. Sweet rich vanilla, banana, and coconut with a slight pleasant bitterness balancing the sweetness.

    Kavalan Distillery is a Taiwanese whisky distillery. It is owned by the King Car Group and is located at Yuanshan Township, Yilan County, Taiwan. The distillery is named after the indigenous Kavalan people, who originally inhabited the Kabalan Plain of modern-day Yilan County. The distillery was completed in December 2005, produced its first spirit in March 2006, and released its first bottling in December 2008.
