Description
This stunning whisky is drawn from a single first fill sherry butt that was filled on January 1st of 2000 by the Grant Family, which is now in it's 5th generation of distillery ownership. The third edition in the Glenfarclas Decanter series, it has been bottled at 47.4% without added colour and is a UK exclusive of only 600 decanters.

About the Distillery:
Glenfarclas distillery a Speyside whisky distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland. Glenfarclas translates as meaning valley of the green grass. The distillery is owned and run by the Grant family. The distillery has six stills which are the largest on Speyside and are heated directly by gas burners.
The distillery has a production capacity of around 4 million litres of spirit per year. Normally four stills are used for production with two kept in reserve.
