Description
The Glengoyne 16 Year Old Mizunara Oak is a limited-edition Highland single malt Scotch whisky, part of the distillery's "Oak Masters' Series," which was released in 2025. It is known for its unique fusion of Scottish and Japanese whisky traditions.
The spirit was aged for 10 years in first-fill sherry and refill casks before spending an additional 6 years in rare Mizunara oak casks from Hokkaido, Japan. This extended finishing period in the famously challenging yet rewarding Mizunara wood is longer than most finishes.
