Description
The Macallan 18 Year Old 2007 - Diamonds Are Forever 55th Anniversary Release is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky created to celebrate the 55th anniversary of the James Bond film Diamonds Are Forever. The whisky was distilled in 2007 as a nod to 007 and bottled at 45.5% ABV, a reference to the 55th anniversary.
Matured in a combination of sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, bespoke hybrid casks crafted from both European and American oak, and American oak casks that previously held red wine. The use of red wine casks reflects a moment in the film where Bond uses his wine knowledge to spot a crucial clue.
