The Macallan Enigma is a highly-regarded, non-age-statement single malt Scotch whisky that was part of the distillery's travel retail exclusive Quest Collection, known for its rich sherry cask maturation. It is considered the pinnacle expression of that series.
The Macallan Enigma was first released in 2017/2018 as the final and most premium bottling in the Quest Collection, which was exclusively available in global travel retail and Macallan Airport Boutiques.

About the Distillery:
The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray, Scotland. The Macallan Distillers Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Edrington, which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
The Macallan is generally considered to be the second or third highest-selling single-malt scotch, next to Glenfiddich and, by some accounts, Glenlivet.
