Description
Master Distiller Billy Walker is celebrated for his peerless wood management capabilities. This flavourful single malt unites some of the most spectacular casks in our enviable inventory. A rare species of Japanese oak, Mizunara is seldom used for whisky maturation due to its high cost and inclination to leak. The exceptional Mizunara barrels, combined with superior Oloroso puncheons and hogsheads, have created an incredibly indulgent and complex single malt.
Bottled at 50% ABV, natural colour and non-chill filtered, allowing its exceptional character to reign supreme.

About the Distillery:
The GlenAllachie distillery was built in 1967 by Mackinlay McPherson. It was bought and mothballed by Invergordon Distillers in 1985. They sold it to Campbell Distillers in 1989, who restarted the distillery.
