Produced in collaboration with Transport for London (TfL), The Spirit of the Underground Collection is an ongoing series of single cask releases celebrating iconic stations across London's historic subway network.
The Whitechapel Edition is part of the 9th release from Bimber, which also includes, Bank & Monument, Farringdon and Marylebone.
This edition is a peated single cask release, fully matured in an Ex-Bourbon cask and celebrates Whitechapel station.
Whitechapel station opened in 1876 and today serves London Underground and Overground, as well as the Elizabeth line, as a key East London transport hub. The area is rich in history, famously linked to Jack the Ripper and Victorian Whitechapel.

About the Distillery:
Bimber is a Whisky distillery in London. 'Bimber' means moonshine in Polish. The founders of the distillery emigrated to London from Poland in 2003 to start their business. The first casks were filled in May 2016. Since 2019, the distillery has been bottling Whisky in small batches or from single casks. Among them are mainly Ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks but also fresh Virgin Oak casks.
