Description
This limited-edition rum was distilled in a column still at a private estate distillery in Nicaragua in December 2004. It aged for 12 years in oak casks before being bottled in February 2017 by the independent Scottish bottler, Duncan Taylor.
Independent bottlings of Nicaraguan column-still rums are appreciated for their light, crisp, and clean character. This expression typically balances wood-driven spices from its aging period with underlying notes of dark brown sugar, light citrus fruit, vanilla, and subtle cocoa.
