Sonoma County 2nd Chance Wheat Whiskey is produced from the Sonoma County Distilling Co. in California. The whiskey is distilled using a double alembic pot still, with a mash bill typically composed of 80% unmalted wheat and 20% malted rye. This spirit is aged for approximately one year in used barrels, which are often a mix of previously used rye and wheated bourbon barrels.
Tasting notes commonly include toffee, vanilla, citrus, and a buttery or creamy texture.
