Description
Bimber Distillery Single Malt London Whisky (Germany Edition 2023), this release consists of single cask expressions matured in sweet Pedro Ximénez (PX) Sherry Casks. Bottled exclusively for importer Kirsch Import in Germany. The spirits are natural colour and non-chill filtered.
One of only 280 bottles, it is characterized by a rich, dessert-like profile typical of Bimber's heavy spirit matured in sweet Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, The mouthfeel is warm, round, and viscous ("thick"). The flavour is dominated by dark fruits like sultanas, fresh figs, and blackberry jam. You may also taste tiramisu, darker notes of espresso and chocolate, and a spicy kick of chilli or pepper.

About the Distillery:
Bimber is a Whisky distillery in London. 'Bimber' means moonshine in Polish. The founders of the distillery emigrated to London from Poland in 2003 to start their business. The first casks were filled in May 2016. Since 2019, the distillery has been bottling Whisky in small batches or from single casks. Among them are mainly Ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks but also fresh Virgin Oak casks.
