Description
Bimber Single Malt London Whisky (Founders' Collection 2022 Special Release), this specific bottling represents the fourth and final entry in Bimber's inaugural four-year series of annual single-cask releases tracking the development of their spirit from 2019 through 2022. The 2022 edition represents the oldest and most mature release in that specific sequence.
Unlike Islay peat (which is often maritime and saline), Bimber's peated spirit tends to be sweeter and fruit-forward, balancing the smoke with the rich esters from their long fermentation.

About the Distillery:
Bimber is a Whisky distillery in London. 'Bimber' means moonshine in Polish. The founders of the distillery emigrated to London from Poland in 2003 to start their business. The first casks were filled in May 2016. Since 2019, the distillery has been bottling Whisky in small batches or from single casks. Among them are mainly Ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks but also fresh Virgin Oak casks.
