About the Distillery:
Strathearn distillery is situated deep into Perthshire, very close to Methven. Strathearn Distillery is the smallest distillery in Scotland but produces a large range of spirits is it handcrafted, single malt or even the specially crafted single cask. Flexibility has been the aim of its owners and, in common with many other new ‘craft’ start-ups, it produces gin and rum, as well as whisky. This experimental microdistillery embodies the fresh approach to whisky embraced by Scotland’s new craft generation. Strathearn guarantees that every batch of whisky produced from its tiny stills will be unique. In October 2019, it was announced that independent bottler Douglas Laing & Co had acquired Strathearn outright for an undisclosed sum – making it the company’s first distillery acquisition.
