Description
Produced in collaboration with Transport for London (TfL), The Spirit of the Underground Collection is an ongoing series of single cask releases celebrating iconic stations across London's historic subway network.
The Bank & Monument Edition is part of the 9th release from Bimber, which also includes, Farringdon, Whitechapel and Marylebone.
This distinctive peated single cask release has been additionally matured in a Pedro Ximénez casks and celebrates Bank & Monument station.
Bank station opened in 1900 as part of London's early deep-level Tube network. It later linked with the neighbouring Monument station, forming a single underground complex connecting multiple lines and the DLR at the heart of the City.

About the Distillery:
Bimber is a Whisky distillery in London. 'Bimber' means moonshine in Polish. The founders of the distillery emigrated to London from Poland in 2003 to start their business. The first casks were filled in May 2016. Since 2019, the distillery has been bottling Whisky in small batches or from single casks. Among them are mainly Ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks but also fresh Virgin Oak casks.
