Description
Being the founders of the Ardnamurchan distillery, Adelphi have the pick of the litter when it comes to casks, so this one must have been pretty special to make it into the outturn for Adelphi's 30th anniversary bottling. A little look at the pedigree supports the theory, as this was matured for a whole 9 years in a single first fill PX hogshead! A first-of-its-kind for the distillery, only 328 bottles were produced.

About the Distillery:
Ardnamurchan distillery is owned by the independent bottling company Adelphi Distillery. Adelphi was founded in 1993, by Jamie Walker – of the Johnnie Walker family, and named after The Loch Katrine Adelphi Distillery – founded in 1826, stopped distilling in 1932 and demolished in 1971. The Ardnamurchan Distillery is situated half way along the peninsula in the small village of Glenbeg.
