About this bottle
The Orkney 19 Year Old 2000 bottled by independent bottler Thompson Bros is a highly regarded single cask, cask-strength single malt Scotch whisky distilled on Orkney in 2000.
As an undisclosed single malt, its source is officially a secret, but it is widely understood by enthusiasts and retailers to have been produced at the historic Highland Park distillery.
Lot Conditions
Bottles in this auction are never classed as brand new. Boxes, bottles and packaging may carry marks or creases due to age. Please inspect the photographs closely before bidding, and contact us for an in-depth condition report: if a report is not requested, lots are sold as seen.
Given the age of the bottles and seals, the condition of the liquid is at the buyer’s discretion. Bottles can be insured against breakage or loss, not leakage.
- A 12.5% + VAT buyer’s premium is added to the hammer price.
- Payment is due within three days of the auction ending. After that, a further 5% + VAT of the hammer price is added.

About the distillery
Thompson Bros at Dornoch Distillery was founded following a successful initial crowdfunding round in 2016 which saw 250 whisky lovers from all over the world eagerly put their hands in their pockets to secure hotly anticipated casks of new make spirit from Dornoch Distillery. A remarkably successful 2017 saw them lay down casks of future single malt whisky and launch Thompson Brother’s Organic Highland Gin, available in 11 international markets.
