About this bottle
The Dallas Dhu 23 Year Old 1982 Cask No. 704 is a highly collectible, rare single malt Scotch whisky bottled by independent bottler Signatory Vintage. Because the Dallas Dhu distillery closed its doors in 1983, expressions like this from its final years of production are exceptionally scarce "silent distillery" bottlings.

Bottles in this auction are never classed as brand new. Boxes, bottles and packaging may carry marks or creases due to age. Please inspect the photographs closely before bidding, and contact us for an in-depth condition report: if a report is not requested, lots are sold as seen.
Given the age of the bottles and seals, the condition of the liquid is at the buyer’s discretion. Bottles can be insured against breakage or loss, not leakage.

About the distillery
The Dallas Dhu Distillery was founded in 1899 by the Glasgow-based company Wright & Greig Ltd. Llike most distilleries during this time, production was completely dedicated to the blended industry. The word ‘dallas’ is derived from the gaelic word ‘dalais’, which means Valley and water.
