About the Distillery:
Strathclyde is a Scottish grain whiskydistillery in the city of Glasgow. The distillery was founded in 1927 by Seager Evans and Co. It stands on the south bank of the River Clyde in an area known as the Gorbals. When Port Dundas closed in 2010, Strathclyde was the only operational distillery left in Glasgow. Today, Strathclyde predominately makes grain whisky for use in blends for brands such as Ballantine’s and finds itself a part of Chivas Brothers’ impressive roster.
