Description

This whisky was distilled at the now closed Speyside distillery Imperial in 1995 and was laid down to mature of 25 years in a first fill American bourbon barrels before being bottled in 2021. The Inishtree was produced in collaboration with DC comics and is named after and takes inspiration from Bruce Wayne's ancestral home. Only 148 bottles were produced at a strength of 53.2% abv. and are each accompanied with a certificate of authenticity sealed by wax imprinted with the Wayne family seal.

  • About the Distillery:

    The Imperial distillery was a producer of single malt Scotch whisky located in Carron, Speyside that operated sporadically between 1897 and 1998. Imperial was mothballed and reopened several times in its hundred-year history. The only official bottling was a 15-year expression, released in the mid 1990s. The distillery was demolished in 2013 and a new distillery, Dalmunach, established on the site in 2015.
