Description

An Ardbeg unique warehouse gift tin accompanied by an Ardbeg Ten Years Old sitting snug inside. The bold letters emblazoned on the warehouse wall were once a signpost for supply ships headed towards the Distillery.  Now when you see ‘ARDBEG’ it’s a signpost for you, to the perfectly balanced, untamed spirit of Islay. It’s not often you can tell people that you own your own warehouse full of whisky. 

This single malt matures for a decade before being bottled without any chill-filtration.

  • About the Distillery:

    The Ardbeg distillery was officially founded in 1815 by John McDougall. But Whisky was distilled there long before that. There are no documentations, as Ardbeg was an illegal business back in 1794. The distillery is now owned by LVMH (Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy), which also owns Glenmorangie distillery in the Highlands of Scotland. The current capacity is just over one million litres per annum and its water source is Loch Uigeadail, after which one of its famous releases is named.
