FEW take this grain to glass, cask strength and award winning straight rye whiskey and bring it to proof with cold extracted 8 immortals oolong tea for a rye of unusual delicacy and complexity.
This is a unique Rye Whiskey from FEW Spirits, since it was reduced from barrel proof to bottling strength not with filtered water, but with tea. Specifically, the Eight Immortals tea from The Tea Spot in Denver.
The result is a whiskey with an aromatic and warm nose that has herbal touches along with baking spices dark chocolate, and a hint of peaches.
