A single cask 1988 Glenfarclas bottled for the Summer 2022 outturn of the distillery's much-loved Glenfarclas Family Cask series.
This Glenfarclas 1988 Cask 6862 was a refill sherry butt that yielded 307 bottles at its natural cask strength of 49.5% after over 30 years of maturation. These long-aged refill sherry Glenfarclas casks are absolutely beautiful whiskies.

About the Distillery:
Glenfarclas distillery a Speyside whisky distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland. Glenfarclas translates as meaning valley of the green grass. The distillery is owned and run by the Grant family. The distillery has six stills which are the largest on Speyside and are heated directly by gas burners.
The distillery has a production capacity of around 4 million litres of spirit per year. Normally four stills are used for production with two kept in reserve.
