A fascinating release from Appleton Estate. This pot distilled rum spent 17 years maturing in the tropical climate of Jamaica before master blender Joy Spence hand selected 10 barrels for this exciting release; a one-off recreation of one of the most famous rums of yesteryear.

About the Distillery:
The Appleton Estate was allegedly part of land awarded to Frances Dickinson in 1655 for his work during the English conquest of Jamaica. The estate remained with the Dickinson family until 1845. The distillery stands as Jamaica’s oldest and the crop is garnered by machine as well as by machete.
