Description
Best known for its Beneagles brand of ceramic decanters, Peter Thomson was established on Perth High Street in 1908. Peter was a skilled blender, and in addition to the company’s wine and spirits wholesale business, created a number of bespoke blends using in particular his knowledge of the Speyside malts.
The Thistle and The Rose 32 piece Chess Set. Each is Wade porcelain, Designed by Ann Whittet modelled by Fredrick Mellor. Each piece, apart from the pawns, is filled with Beneagles Blended Scotch Whisky. The Black peices are Thistle, made of Scottish historical figures and the white pieces The Rose, comprised of English historical figures.
