Description
This limited edition blended Scotch whisky from Compass Box is part of its Extinct Blends Quartet, a series honouring previous styles of famous blends from decades past. Ultramarine is a reimagining of an 'iconic deluxe blended Scotch' that had its first bottlings in the late '80s and early '90s. This blend draws on malt and grain whiskies from the Caol Ila, Girvan, Glendullan and Cameronbridge distilleries along with a whole medley of pre-blended whiskies from the Compass Box stocks, for a peaty, sherried expression. It's naturally coloured and non-chill filtered.

About the Distillery:
Compass Box is a producer, bottler and marketer of a creative range of blended Scotch whiskies. The company is headquartered in Chiswick. Compass Box Whisky was founded in 2000 by American entrepreneur John Glaser, a former marketing director at Johnnie Walker. Blenders for Compass Box are Jill Boyd and James Saxon.
The company's whiskymakers select distillates from a number of existing Scotch whisky distilleries, with the selected whiskies then being blended together and the resulting blend matured further.
