Description
A Gordon & MacPhail bottled Macallan distilled in 1950 and bottled in 1994. The Speymalt from Macallan Distillery range includes a series of exceptional Single Malts, each matured in the highest quality casks selected by Gordon & MacPhail. Gordon & MacPhail helped Macallan survive during the 1930s and 1940s by buying a regular batch of stock from them, and this good standing has given them continued access to high quality casks over the years.

About the Distillery:
The Macallan distillery is a single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Craigellachie, Moray, Scotland. The Macallan Distillers Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Edrington, which purchased the brand from Highland Distillers in 1999.
The Macallan is generally considered to be the second or third highest-selling single-malt scotch, next to Glenfiddich and, by some accounts, Glenlivet.
