Description
The Christmas 2008 edition of the Bell's commemorative decanter series. This contains Bell's Extra Special 8 Year Old whisky.
The back tells the story of a rich traveller who passed through the village of Messingham. He heard three men calling the locals to church, as the church could not afford bells. The rich traveller offered to pay for the church bells if the three men would make them. The men, who were by trade a tinsmith, a carpenter and a shoemaker, agreed. When the rich traveller next passed the village, he heard the three bells ring 'Ting! Tog! Pluff!', as they were made from tin, wood and leather.
