Description
Produced by House of Suntory, this release of the Japanese Harmony has been bottled to celebrate the 175th Anniversary of Harrods department store. This expression is produced using whiskies from the Yamazaki, Hakushu & Chita distilleries and matured in oak casks for an undisclosed period of time. There were just 175 bottles produced at a strength of 43% abv.
Harrods has long been a destination for global luxury items, including The House of Suntory’s whisky collection. The luxury department store, located just south of Hyde Park in London, was founded by Charles Henry Harrod in 1834 and initially operated as a grocery store and tea merchant. The store moved to its Knightsbridge location in 1849, hence the celebration of this anniversary.
