Description
Distilled at the family owned Glenfarclas distillery in Speyside which is now in its 6th generation. This expression has been laid down for four decades in sherry casks before being bottled at a strength of 43% abv. This release is presented in a box designed to pay homage to the distilleries red warehouse doors.

About the Distillery:
Glenfarclas distillery a Speyside whisky distillery in Ballindalloch, Scotland. Glenfarclas translates as meaning valley of the green grass. The distillery is owned and run by the Grant family. The distillery has six stills which are the largest on Speyside and are heated directly by gas burners.
The distillery has a production capacity of around 4 million litres of spirit per year. Normally four stills are used for production with two kept in reserve.
