At WVA Whisky Auctions, we believe in keeping our fees transparent, competitive and straightforward.
Registration & Selling Fees
- Account Registration: £5.00 one-time fee to activate your account and verify your registration.
- Seller's Commission: 0% — Keep the full hammer price achieved for your bottles, subject to applicable fees.
- Standard Bottle Listing Fee: £5.00 + VAT per lot, including lots containing multiple bottles.
- Miniature Bottle Listing Fee: £2.00 + VAT per lot, including lots containing multiple miniatures.
- Reserve Price Fee: £8.00 + VAT per lot where a reserve is requested.
Buying Fees & Payment Terms
- Buyer's Premium: 12.5% + VAT, added to the final hammer price of each winning lot.
- Payment Deadline: All winning lots must be paid for within 72 hours (3 days) of the auction ending.
- Late Payment Fee: An additional 5% of the hammer price + VAT applies to payments made after the 72-hour deadline.
Accepted Payment Methods
We offer secure and convenient payment options:
- Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express, processed securely through Sage Pay.
- Bank Transfer: UK bank transfers are accepted. Our account details will be emailed to you when you select this option at checkout.
- International Bank Transfers: Accepted, with any associated transfer fees payable by the buyer.
Please note: All orders must be paid in full, including any applicable fees, before bottles can be released, collected or shipped.
